The big boat racing fleet at West River Sailing Club is a powerhouse of talent and dedication, with sailors boasting a remarkable track record that includes multiple highpoint, race/regatta, and ocean race winners. Our members race throughout the Chesapeake Bay on a variety of boats in various classes, including ORC, PHRF, CRCA, and in multiple different OD fleets. Additionally, they participate in local Wednesday night series, the Florida circuit, and numerous ocean races. The commitment and skill of our big boat racers continually enhance WRSC’s reputation as a formidable force in the sailing community.
