high school sailing

Our High School Sailing Program is designed to foster a love for sailing among high school students. Since its inception in 2019, the program has expanded to include multiple schools, including Southern High School, South River High School, Rockbridge Academy, and Crofton High School. Our teams compete at the MDISA (Maryland Inter-Scholastic Sailing Association) level locally and have qualified for events at the MASSA (Mid-Atlantic Scholastic Sailing Association) regional level.

We pride ourselves on an open and accepting program, requiring no experience to join and no cuts being made. Everyone gets a chance to sail.

REGISTRATION

Step 1. Pay through the website's system (it allows checks too)

Step 2. Complete the registration forms.

Step 3. Complete the Medical Release Form AND Code of Conduct. Bring it with you on the first day! If you've already done a med form in 2025, we don't need it again.

PRACTICE SCHEDULE

Practices are held on Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:35pm to 6:46pm

Regattas are typically one day for JV and two days for Varsity and held on the weekends.
