We teach all levels, ensuring each child learns and sails at their appropriate level by adjusting programs and groups accordingly.

Our program focuses on making learning fun and safe. We enhance the experience through creative methods like Adventure Sails, Treasure Hunts, stormy day Jeopardy games, and more. Each session culminates in a special activity, such as sailing to High Island for lunch or enjoying a picnic at Round Bay to observe hatching horseshoe crabs.

 While it's helpful if you can designate their level, don't worry too much if you're not sure—we'll continuously assess them and place them in the appropriate group.

Beginner:

• Opti: For those who are just starting out and/or recent graduates of the Sea Urchins.

• 420s: For older sailors or those that weigh over 110lbs that are just starting out.

Intermediate: 

• For those who are comfortable handling a boat on their own and looking to expand their seamanship skills.

Advanced/Racer: 

• For those who are looking to sail competitively and learn the skills and tactics involved in racing. Must be able to sail upwind and gybe downwind.

•  There’s no pressure to race, but if your child wishes to try, we are more than happy to support them in exploring competitive sailing once they have mastered the basics.
