Friday Sea Urchins (Level 1) is open to children ages 4.5 to 7 years old and is held on four consecutive Fridays from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. Parents, grandparents, and family members are encouraged to stay and watch from the sidelines as cheerleaders. This class is offered during the months of May, June, and July. We also invite you to stay for our Friday night dinners, which are a wonderful opportunity for family time and community bonding.

Morning Sea Urchins (Level 2) is recommended for children ages 6-7. This class is similar to our Level 1 Friday night program but is designed for those who have completed Level 1 and/or have the attention span for a longer class. It is a one-week program held on designated weeks, running Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.**

Afternoon Sea Urchins (Level 3) is ideal for children ages 7-8 who have completed Level 2 and are ready to try sailing on their own but are not yet ready for a full-day program. It is a one-week program held on designated weeks, running Monday through Friday from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm.**

Please note that Level 2 and Level 3 are not designed to be taken during the same week,

as they are two different programs requiring different skill levels.

However, they may be taken during the same summer, provided the proper level of skills has been reached.

**This guideline is based on general attention spans. However, we understand the unique situations involving siblings, friends, cousins, etc. We also recognize that some young sailors may be more advanced for their age.
