We had a beautiful Spring Equinox at the club. The day started off with a high school sailing team race scrimmage between Southern, South River, and Kent Island while an RC Training Seminar happened in the classroom. Sailors and RC Trainees came in hungry and ready for our Chilli Cookoff, where Commodore Bill Whitman and his wife Elsie judged the competition for best Chilli. Members then gathered around the fire pit, as we all burned our socks while Bill read us a traditional poem for the occasion.
Some of the juniors even ended the day by rigging the 29ers for the first time.
