Laid back pursuit style, in river distance races designed as an entry into racing or recreational sailing, along with an low pressure environment for new skipper/crew pairings.

As a heritage class of the Chesapeake Bay, the Chesapeake 20s focus their energy on 6 weekends (12 days of racing). The vast majority of these days are at WRSC, with one weekend a year that rotates around other sailing venues. This schedule has rejuvenated the class, bringing 10+ boats to the starting line.

Nothing is more beautiful than a Friday night at West River Sailing Club. Come enjoy a delicious dinner from the WRSC Galley and go sailing!
